GINGER, HEALTH BENEFITS OUTWEIGH RISKS:
Ginger is used to prevent many diseases in human beings. Ginger is useful in diseases of the stomach. Some authors claim beneficial effects of ginger in reduction of inflammation associated with many inflammatory systemic conditions like arthritis, colonic inflammatory disease and post surgical inflammatory conditions.

USE OF GINGER AS A PREVENTIVE TOOL:
Ginger can be used as a preventive tool as well. Common cold infections are caused by certain viruses and ginger has been reported to be effective in prevention as well cure of common cold viral infections.
Ginger can improve blood circulation and hence can be used in treating such diseases where impaired blood circulation is the underlying cause

SCHEME FOR PREPARATION OF GINGER MEDICATION:
1 tablespoon of crushed fresh ginger
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon mint juice
1 tablespoon of honey
Make a mixture of above ingredients and
use it three time for nausea, vomiting, indigestion, jaundice, or pain of hemorrhoids,
Use ginger in case of reduced hunger or abdominal pain. If we make a juice of ginger with water it is very healthy and prevents many diseases. This juice is a diuretic and carries out the excessive water, ginger juice is a successful treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

OTHER USES OF GINGER:

Recent studies are being done on role of ginger in treating asthma. Asthma is condition in which small airways get constricted due to exposure to some allergens from external or internal environment. This constriction is mediated by small receptors called beta receptors and any medicine which can mimic beta receptors can cause relaxation of bronchial muscles. Ginger is thought to relax bronchial muscles but research work is going on for this potential benefit of ginger.
Using ginger while eating fish decreases excessive feeling of thirst.  It is useful for blood vessels and fat reduction from body.
Use of ginger in cough with phlegm is also reported.
