Missile is a weapon used to hit the target with immense force and
causing its destruction. Missiles can carry destructive material with them. They
can hit the target with precision and accuracy. Recently new concepts are being
introduced in the field of missiles and Cruize missile is one example. It can
follow the target which is changing directions because it has an in built
system to sense the target and hit it on the go.
Missile technology has advanced so much in the recent past and
most countries have developed missiles of variable ranges. These missiles can
target up to three thousand kilometers from earth to earth or earth to air. Two
Asian countries which have been struggling to make missiles are Pakistan and
India. Both of them are nuclear power. They tested their nuclear weapons in
1998. India tested first followed by Pakistan on 28th of May. Ever since then, both
countries are testing new missiles with the passage of time. Pakistan has made
missiles with different names depending on ranges. These missiles are named
after the great warriors of Muslim era like Ghouri, Hataf, Babar, Nasar etc.
Shaheen missiles are also launched.
India is not behind in any means. They have made Pirthvi missiles
among many others. But there is a problem with Indian missiles that they fail
their initial test run in most occasions. This issue is a debate and lots of
criticism has been going on. Recently they have tested their missile which
could not hit its target and fell to the ground in a few seconds after it took
off. In this video Fox news anchor person is making fun of Indian missile
technology and criticizing why Indian technology is so poor and also why this
incidence is happening again and again.
On the other hand Pakistan has launched many missiles with much
success. Only few tests have failed and on most of occasions, the missile was
able to hit the target. Scientists around world praise these missiles. Although
missiles are good thing to have but we should not ignore the drawbacks of them.
Missiles are taking us to the verge of destruction. On one hand they show the strength
of a country but on the other hand they also remind us the destruction caused by
such weapons in Japan in the Second World War. They destroyed the cities
claiming many innocent lives. As a human being I suggest that these
technologies should only be used for betterment of humanity and not to kill the
innocent lives. Each life may be very precious for his dear ones. There might
be a father supporting his six children and he may be the victim of a missile.
Although government has its own preferences and threats but humanity should
come first and then any other preference should matter. In the end I would like
to pray to God that” O God, please do mercy to all of us and make us live in a
peaceful world like brothers and sisters.
